This is the stomach-churning moment footage captures ‘maggots’ wriggling around in a McDonald’s ketchup dispenser.
The bugs were spotted at a branch in High Street, Cheltenham, after a video posted on a local Facebook group shows what appears to be dozens of ‘maggots’ inside the condiment dispenser.
The post on Spotted: Cheltenham said: “Don’t use the sauce pumps in McDonald high street Cheltenham.
“Full of maggots & flies.”
As the camera zooms in on the tube, a number of small yellow creatures – thought to be maggots – are seen wriggling around.
Small flies are also visible inside the dispenser.
The fast-food chain said the dispensers were immediately taken out of action to be cleaned and sanitised when the bugs were spotted.
They are now set to conduct a ‘thorough’ investigation’ into how the incident occurred.

“Our condiment area and dispensers are checked for cleanliness on a daily basis, and when the matter was brought to the attention of our restaurant team we immediately took the dispensers out of action to be cleaned and sanitised.
“We are conducting a thorough investigation to understand how the incident occurred on this occasion.”
