Even When I imagine if I were alive and

Even though it has been sixteen years since the horrifying day of September 11, 2001, the ones who lost their lives on that terrible day are still being remembered. We still today hear stories and and watch videos about that horrendous incident. As we know of, the cause of this incident was a terrorist group called Al-Qaeda. We know that the goal of Al-Qaeda of is to spread Islam over the world even by killing people in the most dreadful ways. We also question why did Al- Qaeda do such a gruesome act onto the United States. We never ever think why was Al- Qaeda even created. After learning from the presentation, I learned much about the incidents leading to the attack, the terrorist group causing 9/11, and more heartbreaking information.                          September 11, 2001 is the day where more than 2,000 people lost their lives just because Al- Qaeda wanted to show the United States that they can destroy a powerful nation.  Every year on that day we remember the ones who lost their lives. Some people were just in a casual Tuesday morning either at work, going to work, traveling to see friends or family, on vacation, or risking their lives to save others. Nobody would had ever thought that this regular Tuesday morning can change into the most frightful nightmare anyone can think of. It feels frightening to ever think or imagine about such a horrific day. When you see how the lives of the loved ones of whom had passed away in a mournful attack, you get tears into your own eyes by listening to their stories. When I watch the Twin Towers getting hit by the airplanes and the frightened look on people’s face, my heart felt it was struck with 1,000 spears. When I imagine if I were alive and there that day, I think of how horrible my life would be. I would constantly be thinking of the screaming, collapsing, and the faces of people. The day of September 11, 2001 is a horrendous day which took the lives of countless people.                                 I always thought how was this Al- Qaeda group created. Al- Qaeda was a group created by Osama Bin Laden who was also the mastermind behind the 9/11 attacks. He was from a rich Saudi Arabian family. Osama Bin Laden received a call from Afghanistan to fight in a religious war between the Soviets. He received his training from Pakistani ISI agents. During the Soviet Afghan War, Osama Bin Laden created a terrorist group named Al- Qaeda. The key components of Al Qaeda was to eliminate all foreign influence in Muslim countries, to destroy Israel and create a new pure Islamic State, and eradicate infidels. Al Qaeda are also responsible for the attacks in Yemen, 1992, Somalia, 1993, World Trade Center, 1993, Khobar Towers, 1996, Embassy bombings, 1998, and U.S.S Cole, 2000.                                After the 9/11 attacks on America, Osama Bin Laden said, “There is America, hit by God in one of its softest spots. Its greatest buildings are destroyed, thank God for that. There is America, full of fear from its north to its south, from west to east.” When you read these exact same words Osama Bin Laden says, it just makes a person feel not sad, not angry, not shocking, but an indescribable feeling. How much hatred did a person like Osama Bin Laden have to make to such an inhuman act? For just the the sake to kill all infidels, people like Osama Bin Laden can go to any extent. Terrorists like these kill in the most ruthless, savage way to man, woman, and even children. Even though, the 9/11 attacks shook the United States for a some time, we are still stronger today. Together, as America united as one can go through any kind of incident like this. All of the citizens are America are starting in unifying into one. When we look from sixteen years back to now, we see a drastic change.                The September 11 attacks were caused by a group called Al-Qaeda. Al-Qaeda is a terrorist groups who want to remove foreign influence on Muslim countries. Numerous people lost their lives in that melancholy, horrid attack. It is heartbreaking to even hear about the stories of people whom lost their dear ones in that terrible incident. September 11, 2001 was a horrible day in U.S history causing many people to lose their lives.
