From the EU, we still remain very sceptical as

From the surveythat we have done, we have come to the conclusion that a considerable part ofthe Albanians are pessimistic about the integration of Albania into Europe. Wecan say that this comes as a result of the loss of trust of Albanian citizens inAlbanian politics and because during all these years we have been waiting forsomething to change something about Albania, in fact nothing has been done. The main factorthat has made Albanians pessimistic is the very difficult economic situation.

Many citizens have been forced to emigrate anywhere in the world in order toescape the poverty that their families have gripped.  And all this difficult situation accumulatedover the years has led Albanians to be very unsafe and tired even though todayAlbania is endlessly trying to become part of the EU, we still remain verysceptical as we seem to hear a tale that has always been heard by Albanianpoliticians for many years. Our aim is alsoto use our experience to think ahead and provide integrated solution. Albania isnot the most democratic or economically strongest country on the Europeancontinent, but is roughly comparable with the rest of western Balkan. So I think thatAlbanians should look at it as an extraordinary opportunity for integrationinto the EU and not look at it as something impossible, since Albania has madeimportant steps even though we still have a lot of work to do before.

Albania to bepart of European integration must meet some of the main points that Albanianshave been missing for years like:1.      Freedomsand Human Rights2.      Buildingthe respect and formation of the rule of law3.      Respectfor democratic principles4.      Protectionof minorities5.      Developmentof market economy6.      Regionalco-operation Conditionswhich, after so many years ago, have not been fulfilled and Albania hasremained in the same situation where the demolition principles in many cases donot find any implementation where freedoms and human rights are very oftenoverlooked, where the state so-called right is obscure and where the minoritiesare not protected but are drawn in the middle of the four ways of destiny.

And all thissituation or the situation accumulated for years has led the Albanians today tohave negative ideas and expectations towards our integration in the EU and the improvementof the lives of Albanians where there is justice, freedom and security for allof us. In thisway, Albania must cooperate with the EU to strengthen its institutions at alllevels, but in particular in all institutional matters related to the enforcementof the law and the administration of justice. Also, misinformation or lack of information and the fact that the government in thisperiod has primary EU integration and people have been pessimistic or neutralin their referendum means that our government has not done a good job ofconvincing and informing people that this integration is so important and aboveall it is a great achievement that Albanians have been demanding for many yearsnow, which will certainly open many paths and will have an impact on the livesof each of us, to the development and improvement of our economic, family, orcitizen status.

Limitations:Thelimitations we have had in this research have forced us to use non-probabilitymethod of sampling which does not hold the highest accuracy to the resultsobtained. Namely, these limitations were on resources such as time and people. The lack of abundant time made us not capable of carrying out more than 50surveys and to add up to that, the group managing the research was comprised ofonly 4 people.             Except from the fact that the surveywas carried out on subjects chosen through non-probability method of sampling, another causality of the limitations on resources was the fact that we couldonly manage 50 surveys on 50 subjects, which would ideally be more in order tocollect useful results that would be capable of actually representing theentire Albanian population.
