If you’re looking for action, search no more. The new Mad Max movie is all about explosions and endless chases throughout the post-apocalyptic deserts of Australia though without Mel Gibson this time – the role goes to Tom Hardy, co-starred by Charlize Theron. As far as we’re concerned, this is better than those three movies with Gibson, as the Fury Road is certainly not one of those worthless remakes – it’s better than the original!6.Her (2013)Would you be able to fall in love with a…computer? The Perks of Being a Wallflower (2012)As far as we’re concerned, this is the best coming-of-age movie of this decade, better than the Boyhood. The Perks of Being a Wallflower is based on the book of the same name, written and published in 1999 and tells the story of teenagers who are struggling to be accepted in the society, starring Logan Lerman, Ezra Miller, and Emma Watson. Do you remember the famous tunnel scene?9.Nightcrawler (2014)In some aspects, this movie is quite similar to the already mentioned Drive, but with the main character being…well, more of a psychopath. Louis Bloom (Jake Gyllenhaal) is a former thief who suddenly starts doing something completely different – he starts to shoot the live footage of crimes and accidents that happen in Los Angeles (mostly during the night), and gets into quite a big trouble with the local police (and gangsters).
10.Under The Skin (2013)Of all the movies on our list, this one is the weirdest. Starring Scarlett Johansson, the movie tells the story of the alien seductress who goes around Scotland in her search for prey – and those would be just simple, ordinary men. The movie is both deeply disturbing and visually stunning, a truly haunting experience that you’ll either love or hate – it’s guaranteed to provoke some emotions in you.
