involvement described by Epstein is learning at home. It refers to giving plans
to families on approaches to help their children in learning activities at home
including homework and other curriculum related activities, decision-making,
and planning (Epstein et al., 2009). Learning at home activities that urge children
to share and examine assignments and thoughts with family members support
two-way connections between the home and the school in regards to the
educational programs and other school related activities (Epstein, 2001). Children
will probably be effectively associated with defining objectives for
educational achievement and in planning educational experiences when families give
