The a tall pole, and running races. The History

The summary of Chapter 6
is that community sports and youth in North America are somewhat offered a
variety of settings such as private sports clubs, schools, and recreation
center across the globe. There are several types of sport structures that
create many management challenges including conflicts over the goal of an
organization, accessibility, the management of volunteers, and financial likelihood.
Even though the sport participation continues to grow both in the U.S. and
Canada, the opportunities are widely based on topography and gender meaning
places like rural areas or gender types such as females are still lagging in
access to the sport participation. Families, societies, and individuals benefit
from physical activity and sport. The benefits include increased family time
together, increased social capital, and enhanced physical and mental health.
Sport can be beneficial therefore; sport managers would identify ways to
acquire and retain participants in the local community. Community and youth
sport opportunities take a variety of forms ranging from instructional classes
to after school programs to competitive tournaments and leagues. You must
understand the structure and goals of participation opportunities which helps
the sport managers determine organizational needs and strategies for meeting
certain needs among various constituents. They also must continuously monitor
the participants needs and wants so they can provide the kind of sports and
formats that serve their community best. What stood out to me is that where
community sport came from. The origin of it came the Native Americans that
participated in many forms of sports and games such as the youth shooting
arrows, throwing balls at a target on a tall pole, and running races. The
History behind youth sports began in the late 19th century which is in the
1800’s. It led to the Young Men’s Christian Association (YMCA) which is
prodigious offering boys competitive sporting opportunities and getting closer
to God. The mission is to provide a safer space for boys and girls to play and
that’s what makes sports special. With that being said, the charter was
expanded to The Young Women’s Christian Association beginning in 1866.
Depending on financial situations, the expensive can be prohibitive Logistics,
may be difficult for some parents, and the levels of competition may be
inequitable. I would be interested in this job area because It would be an
honor just giving back to youth and just them knowing they have people out
there looking out for them and giving them an outlook to keep them out of
trouble which is playing organized sports in general. Also, I know with myself
being an athlete, we are expected to
give our all on the field of play, and are expected to do the same in the communities
too. Many professional athletes use their social and financial status to help
others, but they don’t do it on their own. Sports directors help their clients recognize
service junctures and coordinate public arrivals. Some sports administration authorities
even work as special advisors to athletes who want to make a revolution. Once
you contemplate of athletic administration formations, agents for big-name
athletes are likely the first people who come to mind. Yet, sports administration
is much superior than sports agents. Alumni of sports administration programs
enjoy a wide variety of career opportunities at professional sports administrations,
private companies and non-profit administrations. They juggle roles as diverse
as handling marketing for specialized sporting administrations to advising
athletes on social media performs to helping athletic administrations host fruitful
events. Practicums are measured indispensable in this industry, so you’ll also
have occasions to try out a variety of roles before you obligate to a career
path.
