The healthy cells in your body are always checked and are in good condition. Cancer is an unchecked cell growth thats are brought down by the mutation of genes. This can cause cancer cells that have gone wrong. Theses cells originated within tissues and as these cells grow and divide the more different they turn out to be.
Over time as these cells are dividing and growing these cells become less powerful to resist the control that maintains a normal cell tissue. As a result they divide more rapidly than the normal and there progenitors and become less dependent on signals from other cells. Cancer cells do not respond to the signals that regulate the growth of most cells. As a result the cell divide uncontrollably. More often than usually the cancer cells thats break off from the main tumor in your body it travels through your bloodstream. Once it hits your blood it can go anywhere in you body many of the cells die but they can also land somewhere else in your body such as you stomach and a whole new tumors can grow while you still have a tumor in a different part of your body.
Cancers are named where they first have stared. For example if you have breast cancer that can spread to the stomach and a whole new tumor can grow and develop in that specific area.Tumorigenesis is production of new growth or development.Malignant tumor is cancerous and it can invade nearby tissues. While benign tumors are noncancerous. Malignant tumors may grow more rapidly than benign tumors, although there are slow-growing and fast-growing tumors in either category.
Benign tumors can easily be treated with surgery although some may be treated with radiation therapy or medication. Malignant tumors are required to be treated with chemotherapy or radiation.Malignant travels through the body with the bloodstream or the lymphatic system. Malignant tumors may invade the tissues in the body and send out fingers while benign tumors don’t. Benign tumors only grow in the place where they originated.
