“you “I felt like, I was in a dream!”

“you are amazing!”, hesaid it in an open admiration.”I haven’t seen any onelike you”, he exclaimed in utter astonishment. “it all seemed crypticand perplexed as I thought of it””I felt like, I was in adream!”Seven years from now, Iwas totally broken. When I was eight years old, my parents died in a caraccident and there was no one to look after me, therefore I was placed in anorphanage, just like a furtive toy. Every night, I sobbed in sorrow andgrieved  over life being so messed up. Icried and I screamed , I denied and I wept, but there was no one to listen, noone to look after me, no one with whom I could share my sorrow. It took meforever to dispel the anguish within me.

When I turned fifteen, the orphanage could no longer look after me and I was again homeless. Duringthe first month, I worked as a garbage picker in  the day and spent the night relentlesslycrying in a blind alley. Then finally I got a job in a grocery store, justenough to fill my stomach. The grocery store owner was a basket ball fan andseeing him play at evening made me develop a liking to that sport as well.It was surprising that mylife was getting better, I used to live in a stoves compartment and earnedenough money to fulfill my needs. My love and interest in basketball had grownexponentially and playing basket ball made me forget all the agonies in life. But then again fate tested my courage.

The grocery owner died and his cruel andmalevolent looking son changed the stove compartment into a dense club.I was on the streetagain, looking in the shadows, talking to myself of the agonies, disappointments, sorrows, the challenges of my life as these were the only thing that I hadknown. Winter came, the sun himself, weather got cold, and the streets werecovered in groggy snow. Trying to keep myself warm, I spent whole winterplaying basketball and eating leftovers, wherever I could find them.

It was summer again, Iwas again in the court playing basketball inspiration, so that people couldlook up to me admire me, and understand the pain and agony I had to go throughto become who I am. As I was playing, a mancame to me, enthralled to see me play but at the same time, astonished ashaving a perplexed look. Everything changed after that, I became a basket ballplayer in NBA and within a year I was the new big thing coming.

My dreams hadbecome true.
